Got the best beer for the best price there. Ended up buying too much and giving it away as tips for the rest of my stay. Super helpful staff with lots of recommendations.

A small quaint liquor store. They will check your id at the door at night due to security issues. Friendly staff.

Went looking for local beer to take home to DC. Guy was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. Will be back again next time I'm in anchorage.

Looking for a specialty item, I called the main Brown Jug number so I can get a quote on an expensive bottle of scotch. A rude woman answered the phone and said they don't give prices over the phone. I thought that was weird and asked why. She said that I might be a competitor. I called several other liquor stores in town and they had no problem giving me a price over the phone.
