I am 21 years old, but my wife isn't 21 yet. I came in to get myself and some buddies some whiskey. My wife was in the car with our puppy and so they refused to sell it to me until they had HER ID. The alcohol wasn't even for her!! So pissed right now. All I wanted was my whiskey. They were so rude.

So I just got home after a horrific experience at this establishment. I brought my bottle of Pinot Noir and a 6 pack of Ozark Cream Stout to the counter and was prompted for my ID. I gave the woman my ID and she had taken it to a separate counter to check against "the book" as she kept referring to it. I didn't think much of it at first, for I have just moved to Fayetteville from Pennsylvania for a new job and I figured they don't see many Pennsylvania IDs. After several minutes of waiting, she returned to me and said that they are denying me the sale of alcohol and that they would be keeping my ID. I asked what the problem was and I was told that my ID didn't match the aforementioned "book". “What book are you talking about, the Bible?”, I queried. I told her that I simply will not be leaving without my ID and asked her who we need to contact for me to get my ID back. No answer. I was finally told that the UV mark on my ID did not match the UV mark in "the book". I removed my glasses and my face fell into my palm. I rubbed my forehead in uncertainty and irritation while I questioned, “So the state of Pennsylvania issued me a counterfeit driver’s license is what you’re telling me?” To which the woman responded, “If they really even issued you a driver’s license.” I then was asked to recite information on my ID (address, zip code, even the driver's license number). She told me that she would return my ID to me but made it clear that she still didn’t believe it was authentic. After 20 minutes at the store, I left. Embarrassed, empty-handed, and thirsty at 25 years old.

Bad customer service and they don't know how to check an ID - they didn't even try swiping/scanning it...just checking it against "the book"...its 2018...we have the technology to swipe/scan the card to verify legitimacy...

Small store. Guess the name is accurate as it's good for getting what you knew you wanted and getting out quick. Not a big selection but have specials on boxed wine if you're into that.

Car broke down and I had to park it on their lot.. Ask several times was it ok for me to leave car there and would they tow it? They said it was cool and they wouldn't tow it. Come to find out they got my car towed. Now I'm out of hundreds of dollars all because they lied! Worst place ever!!!! Never leave your car on the property because they would say one thing and do another! I'm highly pissed!!
